When I was a youngster, my favorite arcade game was Tempest. When I was an oldster, with more money than sense, I saw an original Tempest machine on Craigslist, and bought it. Now I can play Tempest whenever I want.

This by way of saying that I love vector graphics. I love how, when the electron guns are out of alignment, any time the machine tries to make the color white, fast-moving objects become red, green, and blue lines. I love the trails that movement leaves on the CRT. I love the flicker.

I tried to reproduce all those effects in this mint. There is a special red mode that has nothing to do with Tempest, but I thought it looked cool and would be a fun rarity.
