This work has a story.
It applies extrusions in space and converts 2D elements into dynamic volumes to Broadway Boogie-Woogie a painting by Mondrian.
It was originally co-created in 2006 for an installation with Cresenciano Sotomayor.
On January 2022 the all code was rewritten from scratch and also made it more interactive.

Mouse movement on X and Y axes allows rotation of the object. By mouse clicking rotation stops. Double click restart movement. ["live" display gives a very immersive feeling of the artwork]

Each token will generate differences in both space position and size of each objects.
As well transparencies(especially applied to the white areas).
I tried to keep the color palette as close to the original, nevertheless each token has different grades of color.

Important note. The original file from 2006 has been received and archived by MoMA in NYC, where the original Mondrian painting is exhibited.
