"Totems are objects that represent a group of people, or concept."

For this piece I combined both programmatic generative concepts with organic marks. I focused previous generative projects on animation and interactivity. With Totems I focused more on creating pleasing and balanced compositions regardless of generated characteristics.

Totems represents my continued search to discover a type of generative work that I find both pleasing to create and collect. One day once I settle on a particular genre or medium of work, these works will be seen as those that contributed to me "finding myself" or "finding my style".
