Noise! It's all over the place. There are numerous examples today, such as that modern teenagers on the train playing video games on their cellphones with the sound turned on but no headphones.
However, the sound is not the only type of noise. Noise can also overwhelm our vision. Billboards, advertisements on parks, and flashing signs all contribute to visual noise.
The term "visual pixel noise" refers to both harmful and beneficial visual noise. According to one study, exposing children to white noise has the same effects as giving them glasses. Reading and memory were both affected immediately.
White noise improves memory and comprehension. When exposed to visual pixel noise, the group with significant reading difficulties especially phonological difficulties performed noticeably better. They correctly read and remembered more words in environments with moderate noise. White noise had no effect or a negative effect on those who could read well or had only minor reading difficulties.
This is the first study to show that visual white noise affects higher-order cognition, specifically reading and memory.

Our project is inspired by the white noise concept but in an innovative way instead of creating a white noise we were able to adjust and diversify the subject by adding different smooth color palettes.
