"The Golden Hour," is my generative art project that attempts to blur the lines between generative art and photography. Inspired by the magical moments of twilight, dusk and dawn.

The Golden Hour is a fleeting yet magical window just after sunrise and just before sunset, offering a palette of warm, soft light that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. This project aims to evoke that same sense of wonder.

On a small screen or mobile device, I want viewers to question whether they are looking at a photograph of a landscape. Upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that these are generative artworks, not photographs. Of course, with the number of mints available, I have had to introduce more randomness, so I know that some will not necessarily give that impression if they have a bright magenta sky. This element of unpredictability ensures that every piece is distinct, offering a fresh perspective on the interplay between code, art and nature.

To save at a higher resolution, open the live view of your token, add &scale=3 or &scale=4 to the end of the URL. Be mindful that larger outputs will take longer to render. The default scale is 2.

I used the p5js JavaScript library to create this collection and minify-js to minimise the files.
