This is part of a collection that I am working for quite a while, inspired in different artworks, in which I mix the aesthetic of early 2000s and pixel art.
"The Genius" is inspired in this particular part of the center panel, at the top left area, from The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch (c, 1450 - 1516), which is part of the Prado Museum in Madrid.
The image in the painting shows a human, riding a griffin, that carries a triple-branched tree, interpreted as a tree of life, on which perches a bird that is seen as "a symbolic bird of death".
Those interpretations were made by Wilhelm Fraenger. He also believes that the human is intended to represent a genius, "he is the symbol of the extinction of the duality of the sexes, which are resolved in the ether into their original state of unity"
