squarepusher is an algorithm that renders different amounts of layers of squares to create a random abstract artwork.
layers, squaresize and direction are randomised and create pieces that remind me of spatula technique used in physical abstract artworks.



the color-palettes used in all pieces, are based on a color generation algorithm, so there will be a high variety of possible outputs.


It’s highly recommended to open the fullscreen preview to view the single pieces in all detail.



- pressing keys 1 - 5 toggles an infinite looping of new layers added to the piece in different framerates ( 1 slow - 5 fast )
- pressing s lets you save a .png version of the piece.

- as rendering png’s is possible within every state of the loop, every piece is also an artwork generator itself, capable of generating (almost) limitless outputs.
