Having been fascinated with various fabrics and print, I feel there is a an intrinsic connection between generative art and the various modes of fabric generation and weaving patterns that feels so close to computational arts. Continuing with this line of pursuit, this series riffs on generating silk like textures and some dotted stitching patterns using parametric equations, in a way that these metaphorically feel like the various silk routes that were used to travel, crisscrossing each other with each path writing its own history and the various ways they were used to trade, exchange and treasure the silk in different parts of the world.
