The seas of hills represent a morphoclimatic domain (which brings together relief, climate, vegetation and hydrography) present in Brazil, which is formed by the union of several elevations.

The name is associated with a large group of rounded hills formed by the intense process of erosion. In this way, the term “sea” is related to the similarity of the hills and waves of the sea.
