Digital primitivism for future generations

I saw a woman, a beautiful woman. Her posture was that of a Greek goddess. She cut through the crowd like a glass shard. She smelled of an electric shock.

“Do you have a dream, kid?” she asked, grinning.

Her eyes gleamed in the halogen glow. This human baseline fascination with fire.

I felt molecules shivering under the surface. I couldn’t tell if it was her or something deeper, buried inside me. I suddenly thought of the past.
I imagined being a caveman, leaving red ochre marks on a wall with my bare hands. This human baseline desire to transfix its presence through a picture.

Or was it the future?

The history is a looping glitch, and I can feel the gap between me—consolidating primitives on the blockchain—and our descendants, born in hundreds of years.
