ProtoCephalopod:01 is the first Cephalopod in my expanded 3D Protobytes series, begun in 2004.

Protobytes is an investigation into generative, artificial lifeforms, created algorithmically through code and math. The original 2004 series (http://www.iragreenberg.com/ira_greenberg_data/code/protobytes/) were built of overlapping 2D forms using ActionScript. ProtoCephalopods are generative 3D models built with WebGL (three.js), TypeScript and my own PByte.js library.
