Prism of prejudice

A cloudy view of the world through the prism of prejudice is a perspective that is clouded by preconceived notions and biases. This type of worldview is characterized by a lack of objectivity and an inability to see the world for what it truly is. Instead, individuals who view the world through the prism of prejudice see only what they want to see, and interpret events and people through the lens of their own biases.
This type of worldview can be incredibly harmful, as it leads to discrimination and mistreatment of certain groups of people. For example, someone who views the world through the prism of prejudice may discriminate against people of a certain race, religion, or sexual orientation, simply because of their own biases. They may also make assumptions about individuals based on their appearance or background, rather than getting to know them as individuals.
The cloudy view of the world through the prism of prejudice also leads to a lack of understanding and empathy. When people view the world through their own biases, they are unable to see the perspectives and experiences of others. This lack of understanding can lead to a lack of empathy and a lack of compassion for those who are different.
To break free from a cloudy view of the world through the prism of prejudice, individuals must actively work to become more aware of their own biases and to challenge them. This includes seeking out diverse perspectives, engaging in meaningful dialogue with people who have different experiences, and becoming more self-aware. With time and effort, individuals can learn to see the world in a more objective and compassionate way.
It's worth noting that, Prejudice is a learned behavior and can be unlearned, it's not a permanent condition of mind. Therefore, it's important for us to actively work on ourselves and our biases to achieve a clearer and more equitable view of the world.
