Point(); Line(); Plane();

Point(); Line(); Plane();

7 July 2022TEZOSIPFS

The title of this piece is a reference to Wassily Kandisky's book "Point and Line to Plane" (1926).

Eight points are placed at random positions, assigned a color and direction, and moved, to become lines. These lines are then translated to form planes.

This idea was already formulated by Aristotle: "a line by its motion produces a surface, and a point by its motion a line".

This simple algorithm creates an interesting variety of compositions, all unique and recognizable.
