Graffiti scene / Demo scene / Art scene etc. etc.
New rules start popping up,
you should do this, you should do that..
Can't do this do this, you should not do that.
New rules, that can hinder you.
If you start conforming/obeying the rules

Like seen people, making lovely works,
'but it should have more variations'
Adding all kinds of extras,
that only made the work
less powerful in the end

Or loosing themselves
in the small details

Making 100 great and lovely sketches,
and finally releasing a work
that totally did not work or sell at all.

Such a shame.

Variations: != 100 different extras?

For example, look at the Mark's Smoll-skulls or like Casey Reas works,
or like 100 warhol soup-cans, all just a littlebit different

I knew a classic composer,
that really enjoyed creating works
when he was young.
Became a teacher,
conform within the institution
And lost all the joy he had for composing,
due to pressure and rules 'how things should be done'


Don't post too much

Some people like to work on 1 painting for years
trying to create their own Mona Lisa.

While Vincent van Gogh would paint lightning fast,
sometimes doing 1 painting a day
