This project is a journey to embrace creativity with a programmatic form. As a child, I carried a pencil and paper to mimic the world around me. The paper canvas provided a path to empathize with a world, so I could attempt to better understand it. At some point along the way, I lost touch with the analog medium and found myself taken with the structure of computers and languages. Over time, computers became more of a consumption engine. Almost a year ago, I started on a daily journey of returning to creation with the p5js medium. Today marks my 306th day of that journey. Each day the canvas and I practice what can be. Each day beauty is found and destroyed.

This canvas is generated by varied line strokes and gaps in between. As my practice evolved, patterns began to appear. I watched as the canvas transformed into woven fabric and at other times pencil shading practices. The forms were magical and captivating and thus are both part of this project.
