The PAPERS series is an attempt to reflect my graphic design background and printing experience which are an essential part of my professional identity. I think printing and especially hand printing is quite similar to modern generative art. All prints are made with the same cliché or idea but slightly differ from each other.
This piece was inspired by the works of Karel Martens (b.1939) — a Dutch graphic designer and artist. His experiments with stamping by ready-made objects were very important for my understanding of how printing generally works.
