p5js tutorials - Record Array

31 August 2022TEZOSIPFS

A 'simple' p5 tutorial for you creative coders

Recording the x,y positions when you draw
in a buffer / Array

To keep track where things are drawn on the screen
And use these new positions, as a platform-start
to draw other shapes.

It's an easy / fun trick to keep track of things you've drawn on the screen

I use this trick as well in 3D;
for like drawing trees, then the branches and leaves

See the sketch here.

Feel free, to change and adjust it -->>> all <<<--- around.
And feel free, to learn from the source - example

- s key saves the 1500x1500 image; when the sketch is open/selected

The source of this fxhash-sketch is just a bit different, though.
Since I adjusted it for publishing it on fxhash
You can use and change this source on fxhash as well!
