"Ode to Summer" is a generative artwork, depicting flowers with an out-of-focus background. This piece has started with a single dandelion and endured through many reworks and refactors, however, my initial goal for this artwork has always been the same – to portray the colors of summer. These colors can be soft, yet exuberant; dim, yet full of life – exactly this has influenced my fascination with flowers, the living things that flourish the most in the summertime.

One of the things that I have been most intrigued by with flowers is their fleeting beauty, sometimes only blooming for less than a day. In order to convey this effect of "momentariness", I attempted to give the piece a sort of polaroid feel.

Controls:
1. The keys from "1" to "9" can be used to re-render the artwork at a higher resolution. For example, press "4" to render at 4x the initial resolution.
