Who is Arty?

Arty is the name given to this symbol by the friendly folks of Newberry, South Carolina. The symbol itself can be seen carved into the architectural moulding of the Old Newberry Hotel (est. 1878). No one knows why, when or by whom the symbol was created but many of the artists of Newberry Made have adopted it as their maker’s mark. Learn more about us at www.NewberryMade.com.

Why is there a Red Dot in the bottom corner?

The red dot is my signature for an ongoing series of generative art on fxhash (a shout-out to my first project). I will continue to utilize red dots as a design element in future work.
