Each token contains text from a uniquely-generated logography, a character set in which symbols represent entire words or concepts (unlike alphabets or syllabaries in which symbols represent spoken sounds). Each logography is related to others in the series by the set of rules determining how each logogram is drawn, but individual symbols are unlikely to repeat across tokens.

These logograms are asemic--meaningless--but one can imagine that in these logographical systems meaning may come not just from a symbol's shape, but also attributes like color, line style, and position relative to other symbols.

10% of all tokens are set to mint in babelMode (multiple sets of overlaid logograms). Other feature and rarity settings include color scheme (10% in darkMode), line vs dot vs mixed character stroke, straight vs squiggly stroke style, grid size and character complexity, and sublimated vs engraved print style.
