Landfill 83 is a generative artwork by Estelle Flores in homage to the 40 years of the Christmas release of the videogame "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" dubbed 'the worst game of all times'. An event that marked the fate of a nascent entertainment industry, the dumping of thousands of unsold cartridges by Atari in Almagordo landfill in 1983, inspired the artist to create a work reflecting on the industrial exploration of holidays and the destiny of unwanted gifts.
