From African tribal clothes to Islamic mosaics every civilization throughout history has produced delicate patterns to share the essence of their culture. These artifacts have changed our understanding of how art, like societies form through bonds, the very fabric of things that have become symbols for cycles, paths and relationships.

Interlaced explores these unique motifs using emergent algorithms to produce colorful continuous patterns. The project uses a dynamic engine that traverses triangular meshes placing diverse tile configurations. By combining art with technology, the project aims to tell a new story of making digital connections between geography, culture and time.
