You can take control of the critter by pressing "k", it will switch between modes, then use your mouse cursor.
You can hide the HUD by pressing "h".

A guardian generally has two eyes, and two ornaments.
Sometimes, the upper ornament will be replaced with a third eye.
Very rarely, the lower ornament slot will be replaced with an eye.
A four-eyed guardian is very rare.

As for all the [INNER-GARDEN] artworks, the secret_connection trait is present, and rare.

Apart from this, everything has an equal chance to appear.
