An algorithm creates a series of minimalist structures that hang from the top of the canvas. These structures get classified as narrow or wide and rendered in three possible colors.

This generative token draws inspiration from the wire forms created by Ruth Asawa. Using traditional Mexican crochet techniques, Ruth would weave a single strand of thin wire into curved, organic shapes. Asawa would often construct these looped-wire structures while sitting at her kitchen table or looking after her children.

Initially written in TypeScript and transpiled into 66.05KB of JavaScript, Hanging Orbs uses the Immutable-js library for persistent data structures.
