The shape and function of haematids (red blood cells) has always fascinated me. Perhaps their mathematical smoothness and candy-like aspect resonated with me as a child. Their simple appearance distinguished them from the other cell types I had learned about. I imagined them engorged with sweet-flavoured oxygen and juicily popping under my bite.

I hope for this generative artwork to communicate my appreciation for these never-ending body travellers.
