Gradient Lake generates an image with thin lines of color gradients. The thin lines are grouped to form multicolor trees as well as a lake that lay before them. Depending on the number of trees generated and their size, the forest near the lake may look sparse and desolate or dense and deep. In either case, the sun behind the trees shines its light onto the lake illuminating the colors within it as well as the reflected colors of the trees. With several colorways and randomization of each feature, there are many possibilities that will allow for each image to be unique.

Gradient Lake is an expansion of the algorithm used for Gradient Rect, a prior project which generated a randomly spaced set of rectangles filled with a gradient from a selected color palette.
