This is pencil work, a study on Picasso's sketch lines. The original flows together so well, that to be the creator of a work of art like this, the entire picture had to have been in his mind already before he drew it, all happening in an instant.

That is what really inspired me was his ability to be so full of ideas, seemingly entire masterpieces never before even imagined likely already in his mind perhaps before he even hit the canvas, a frenzied succession of works giving birth to entire movements of art.

At the same time I try to capture Andy Warhol's idea where he presents the viewer with artwork on a designer's idea grid. In his style final work is not necessarily just the one best image arbitrarily chosen, but the sum of the ideas for the piece, placed on the grid. The viewer and artist sometimes cannot make up their mind which one they like better, so Warhol decided the artist's final work is the set of all the ideal iterations imagined by the artist. I increased the complexity of the grid to mark the technological advancements in design tools since the last century.
