Flowerings is my most ambitious generative art project yet. It aims to maximize variation in outputs while minimizing variation in inputs. Each artwork is generated by runnning the same custom cellular automaton with a fixed set of rules and a palette of 16 colors through 19 generations of chaos. The only variable input trait is the initial configuration of the cells (smaller cells are less common but take longer to render). Implemented in 3963 hand-crafted characters of JS code. Forever limited to 100 unique editions living on the Tezos blockchain.
