Ephemeral Message is a generative series featuring the dematerialization of shared messages. It was inspired by multidisciplinary artists, from Chiba to New York, and popular generative algorithms and initiatives.
This new series was made using JavaScript, WebGL and shaders. It involves several custom flowfield algorithms and emits with GPGPU noises.
The artwork can take up to 15 seconds to be fully generated.
You can read more about my inspiration and this process in this post I recently wrote: https://arts-mb.com/blog/ephemeral-message.
This series includes:
- 240 color structures from 15 handcrafted color palettes
- 10 main algorithms, offering a wide range of rendering possibilities
- Black and white, color or monochrome versions.
- The ability to render a high resolution version by pressing the "s" key. Wait for the animation to render, then the "Save Image As..." window will appear. The output should be printed in 17.6 x 17.6 cm format if desired.
The preview differs a bit from the original version, my apologies for that.
Also, if you're interested in print versions of this new series, take a look at https://arts-mb.com. Many format sizes are available with original versions.
20% of winnings are donated to help cure Parkinson's.
20% of the royalties go to help the 3D JavaScript library, three.js.
