“We saw the first blossoms late that year, an anticipated promise from the tenacious, etiolated fingers we'd observed making their way through the unseasonable snow; a dirty snow. They represented hope, pushing through this gritty crust formed of equal parts ice and ash making an inevitable descent from the troposphere. We kidded ourselves it was the earth washing itself clean, erasing all evidence of what we'd done, though we knew in our secret hearts that no amount of rainfall, ironically, could save us from the flood.”

Enfold is a piece based around distance: distance from circles, distance from centres, distance from edges. Points, places and relationships between separate entities are combined and forced through curated palettes of bright and vivid colours, producing overlapping, elliptical and lens-shaped areas formed from emergent, convex arcs.
