The color of empty space can be any color; in most cases, it matches the background color.
The following methods are used to create depth and visual space
- Scale similar shapes so that some are smaller than others.
- Transparency and overlap of shapes can create spatial depth.
- The resolution and texture of shapes can also be changed in order to create depth visually.
- Spatial depth can be created by drawing a shape from multiple angles or changing its shape or direction.
