The digital realm has become a new form of reality, coexisting and sometimes surpassing traditional physical reality. The authenticity of physical artworks has been lost as they now exist purely in the virtual world. Discussions, critiques and expressions of admiration for art are now made through digital images and pixels on screens rather than through physical pieces in galleries. The reality of what once was just a prototype is now embodied by the visible pixels. I hold a deep respect for pixels and use them as a medium to elevate the visibility of my artistic creations. The transition from a concrete image to an abstract representation of meaningless squares, resulting in the loss and eventual rebirth of its original meaning, greatly fascinates me

In this project, I explore this concept as well. By considering the pixels of an abstract digital image in a zoomed-in state, I experimented on a plane where the pixels were of varying sizes and overlap beyond their standard boundaries. The colors applied to a texture fade slowly, similar to how paint is absorbed by paper. I attempted to create a new genre by blending digital and reality in a way that does not resemble either a traditional picture or an image made up of pixels.
