Inspired by the flow of fluids. Currents can in some cases instil a sense of calm waters and in others a sense of stormy seas. We may also have a tendency to imagine these flows as battles between colours or a mixing of specific emotions.

Each work is composed of many solid, single colour, straight line "brush strokes" layered on top of each other. This effect is inspired by the impressionist Broken Colour Technique and allows the eye to impart a sense of movement and create a gradient from only a few solid colours.
