This algorithm was written entirely in p5.js and is made up of a vector-based particle system with colour inheritance.

The colours have all been hand-picked from photographs I took on my travels (mostly the Greek islands, Spanish countryside, and California) and this work explores whether, and to what extent, the colour palette can abstract, decontextualise and transmit the feelings captured in the photographs to you, someone I (probably) have not even met.
