Based my favourite unsolved problems in Mathematics: the Collatz Conjecture (please search it if you are interested in learning something new).

Each branch of this “tree” corresponds to a unique random number between 2 and 5000. The shape of the branch portrays the behavior of that number according to a simple mathematical rule. So what you are seeing are 100 branches governed purely by Mathematics.
If you look closely, there are two interesting things in the background. First, all the randomly chosen numbers are floating aimlessly on the canvas. Second, there are many tiny mountain-like structures. These are graphs of the numbers (not to scale) and there is a direct relation between the graph and the branch of each number.

This is my attempt to generate something beautiful from pure Mathematics. I hope you like it.

RightArrow/LeftArrow :: Increase/decrease the brightness of the graphs.
