Cobogó, despite having become popular in the 50s, it appeared in Recife, almost a hundred years ago, around the 1920s. A curiosity is that the name, which seems very Brazilian, has a funny origin. It was formed from the initials of the surnames of its creators: Amadeu Oliveira withimbra, Ernest Augusto goodeckmann and Antonio Gois.
