This generative art token is a collaboration between artist Jaali Bandar and the NFT Museum of Newberry, SC. Jaali Bandar’s genesis fxhash project “Mona Lisa Overdrive” was one of the first NFTs acquired for the permanent collection. It was showcased at the NFT Museum’s #Cryptografik exhibition throughout the Spring of 2022.

Jaali Bandar’s work quickly evolved to become fully immersive and interactive multimedia experiences (see Terra, What on Earth? and Terra Nova). In an effort to bring our worlds closer together, the NFT Museum of Newberry, SC reached out to Jaali Bandar of Bangalore, India to collaborate. This artwork explores the ethereal space where the real and the virtual meet. This is Beyond.

We share 33% of future royalties with the original minters in an effort to encourage the promotion of fxhash artists and raise awareness of generative art on the blockchain. We want this art to spread far and wide. Thank you for your support in helping us accomplish this goal.

Artist Bio:

Jaali Bandar is an artist exploring the tech landscape in its anthropomorphic capacity as our collective moves towards a post-human condition. Coming from a design background he is exploring speculative fiction at the interactions of the meta, material and the virtual to create fictional representations using imagery, simulations and experiences.


Artist Statement

As we let ourselves be overwhelmed by this omnipresent technological feedback, we change rapidly in more ways than we can fathom. As we approach the technological singularity, the question I ask is that how far can we see? As we complete the process of shifting our decision making burdens to the machines, all that remains are automated landscapes of our post-human desires and fragments of memories from a distant past.

Beyond explores automated human exclusion zones with occasional glimpses of forgotten artifacts of the previous generation as a generative artwork. Diffusion reaction systems have this uncanny ability to morph perspectives as a function of visual feedback loops on the basis of visual inputs with varying degrees of control.
