Sandy beaches are among the favorite places of most people. Bright warm sand, the pleasant noise of the ocean, little crabs hiding in their sand-holes and palm-trees with juicy coconuts is what comes to most people’s mind when they think of a beach.

However, during my travels all over the world, I’ve been to many beaches and most of them didn’t look any like what I just described. All kinds of plastic bags, bottles and way too many cigarette filters took over most beaches I saw and while it all gets washed ashore eventually, there’s still plenty of trash floating out in the ocean.

Beachlife is a project that tries to preserve our gorgeous beaches and beautiful ocean-life in two ways.
First, as an NFT living on the blockchain whereas the code for this generative token is hosted decentralised on IPFS servers we assume (hope) that it will persist as long as humanity exists (and technically also beyond) so we can pass the beauty for generations.
Second, 50% of all generated income from this token will be donated to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society - an organisation dedicated to protecting sea-life with direct actions. The split is going directly to an exchange account, maintained by TheGivingBlock.com
