This PFP project was born from a core idea I was drawn into for many years. answering the question "what do I want my art to be about?" or "what ideas do I need to express in my art" . and my answer was "The contradictions and the contrasts". and mostly the contradiction I always found in beauty and perfection or better say in "KITSCH"
" kitsch is the absolute denial of shit, in both literal and figurative senses of the word; kitsch excludes everything from its purview which is essentially unacceptable in human existence." Milan Kundera writes .a kitsch can be many things , it can be a political idea, a video game , the idea of how our parents know everything or maybe a doll made specifically to look perfect. these kind of perfections shatter as we keep going on and this feeling, the feeling of a shattered kitsch is what I explore in my art and what I tried to put into this pfp project. these broken dolls come with an ironic dialogue to help you imagine their stories . This whole pfp is about the irony in shattered perfection. also they're kinda cute too ;) Enjoy!
