During my childhood we had a small patch of bamboo in our backyard.
I fondly remember playing with the hollow sticks but also cutting myself on the fibrous leaves.
"Bamboo" aims to capture the adventures I would envision while looking at that small jungle in my garden.

Inspiration was drawn from pointillism, botanical illustration and naive art.

The piece is purely generative, in the sense of painting the picture with code via p5js points and shapes, no assets are used.

Generative parameters include density of elements, parameters of elements and color.
