Our thoughts and our universe consist of systems that may seem chaotic but fundamentally operate according to specific rules. Cellular automata are a model where these rules come to life in a simple yet profound way. Each cell evolves solely based on its neighboring cells, following a deterministic process. This evolutionary progression transforms an initially simple order into complex and mesmerizing patterns over time. Just like in nature, every small interaction is part of a grand transformation. The universe of cellular automata is a dynamic structure that follows rules yet remains full of surprises.
This collection was created to explore the aesthetic and mathematical beauty of cellular automata. Each piece visualizes how a complex order emerges from simple rules. The interactions between colors, forms, and structures reveal the depth and power of the system's rules. Inspired by iconic collections such as "RGB Elementary Cellular Automaton," my goal with this project is to bring together the evolutionary beauty of fundamental rules in both natural and artificial systems and to open a window into the essence of these models through an interactive approach.
