Alchemy (or Maria Paritura) is a generative art project (p5js) based on Kandinsky's thoughts -Corcerning the Spiritual in Art- about reducing artistic expression to his essentials.
Inspired on a medieval painting of the Virgin pregnant with the sun. Shape has been removed and it has been synthesized into its primarial colours: blue, red and yellow. As soon as the figurative image is taken out, the symbolism comes out clearly. The union of heaven and earth reveals the Phylosopher's Stone. A sunrise where the Above finds the Below (As above so below, Esmerald Table).
