Since the start of the pandemic, "adrift" sums up how I've been feeling, both creatively and emotionally. I spent much of the time between Bombay Beach, CA and Denver, CO, displaced from NYC and the life I'd spend the last decade building there. Being without a permanent studio has meant turning to code as my primary creative outlet.

This generative piece extends work I started in 2015 emulating datamoshing effects with vector directed copy-paste routines. In the time since, the contrast of fluid motion and angular form have come to represent a greater sense of my experience of the past few years. There is so much more to say, but I just can't find the words.
