68P16 (or p16 wing hassler) is a period-16 oscillator discovered by carybe in a symmetric soup on October 22, 2018 using apgsearch.[1] It consists of eight blocks hassling four wings and four blocks, and produces useful sparks.

A 42-glider synthesis for this oscillator was found by Mark Niemiec on November 2, 2018, which was improved to 39 by 2718281828 later that day.

On September 15, 2021, David Raucci used this oscillator to construct a period-32 glider gun, smaller than the original p32 glider gun using a completely different mechanism that was posted just a few days earlier.
