A generative artwork built with p5.js and custom GLSL shaders that simulates the aesthetic of a 56 kbps dial-up experience in a retro Internet Explorer interface. The piece renders as a progressively loading image, a digital nod to the sluggish pace of early network connections. At first, the image materialises in fragmented scanlines and intermittent glitches, capturing the nostalgic feel of old Windows 98 UIs.

Interactivity lies at the heart of the work: while the progressive loading offers a dynamic view of the creation process, you can press the "F" key at any moment to toggle to a full-resolution rendering. This allows you to appreciate both the process and the finished, detailed image that emerges once the simulated loading is complete.

Each mint is unique, with subtle variations from randomised loading artefacts and connection drop simulations woven into the code. Ms. Paint_56kbps is a playful yet precise exploration of digital-era limitations transformed into a new visual language.
