Stratification Of the Orthogonal
written by nubplus
I have always defined myself as a plastic artist in my art career. I created my 2d and 3d artworks with a lot of different techniques and materials. I have always used the digital world as a medium for my works. I preferred to use digital methods both in the design process and in the production process. An object that can be seen, which gives feeling when touched and has a volume; has always been indispensable in physical art. To be honest, I was biased towards digital art at first. As an innovative person who believes in charge, I used to think that digital works are not enough to be works of art. Generative art change my views on this. The endless production of the algorithm, the effects of the textures created by the procedural textures, even by themselves have the value of art. This situation has an incredible impact on my physical art. When I was in the period of simplification in my works, I started to look for texture again. Spontaneous forms created by algorithms have inspired the modular architectural designs in my art and have give me new missions. My artistic career, which started with graffiti at a young age, gained a childlike excitement again. I’m constantly thinking about new designs and imagining them endlessly. As my technology develops, I will learn and work patiently to realize limitless works.
In this collection, I examined the depth of the sense of simplicity given by the orthogonal image and I tried to approach the perspective view by creating layers. Gelstalt theory, which I see as a group of principles was my main starting point in composition. Depth perception and continuity principle were my main themes. I’m even more interested in machine texturing. The intensity and emotion added by the organic-feeling textures in the simple architectural compositions obtained were my favourite effects. In this depth perception of my symbolic persona, the relation between them arouse different feelings with their curvature. Although the harmony and unity of people with space and time provides a similarity, the difference between them has brought a intensity of feeling. The resulting outputs took me back to my collage years. The sharp lines given by my technical drawings to geometric objects with an isometric angle reminded me of the pride of successfully completing the drawings I created knowing that the rapidograph pen should be used carefully and patiently. I felt the need to limit the color palette in my collection. The effects of colors people can give feelings independent of the work, I didn’t want these colors to get in the way of architectural images. I wanted the color palette I chose to have the effect of antique oriental pottery. I try to limit them to blue, white and earth tones. I also plan to publish an article on the formation processes of my symbolic persona.
It is very difficult for artists who are in the physical art world to transition to the Web3 space. Although they were very successful in the art world as well as good examples, their attempts in the field of crypto art ended in failure. Artists who had a successful transition was provided by the power and support of well-known names in the Web3 space. Although I have been following NFTs for a long time in my Web3 adventure, it took me a long time to bring my art to this space. Firstly I wanted to get to know the culture of this space and its triggering elements. I can see that smart contracts offer the best solution for artists and collectors. The artists realizes their imagination and they need their audience and collector to make it happen. They want the value of the work in the collection to increase, the work becomes a symbol of this common feeling and the community of artists and collectors take pride in this symbol. They take on the task to show the audience. Thus increase to the chance of finding its value. This certainty of smart contracts empowers the shared value model. As a follower of this space, I have always defended the share model. I will build on this model what I have produced in the crypto space. In the process, I will carry my physical art to this space with hybrid and digital methods. I will further develop this economy. I started this with my Egos collection. I gave away 6 free egos tokens with 20 percent royalty to every person who support early collections of my generative artworks. In my this collection, I will give to new collectors the right to a mint with royalty of 15 percent. I will deliver 10 pieces of the collection that belong to me as hybrids in carefully selected. I will send signed high quality prints of designs in carefully selected frames to people who buy first 10 tokens at a certain price. It is aimed to price, frame and logistics costs to a minimum. As someone who highly experienced in my international sales. I can give you the comfort of security on this.
