INGREDIENTS:

Tofu: [crush it hopeful to chunks not too moshed]

Garlic: [minced depends how much tofu you using like maybe a teaspoon of minced stuff probably 2 or 3 what is it called wedge or something ehehe]

Onions: [minced or can be chunky whatever, I like onions]

Green Onions or Leeks: [for flavor and accent lol]

Red Bell Pepper: [optional for flavor and accent]

Turmeric Powder: [yellow ginger or fresh just grate it if you afraid to have yellow hands after then I don't know how to help you with it hehe]

Black Pepper: [also need this as complimentary turmeric partner Heath benefits]

Black/Pink Salt: [if you can find this aka Himalayan Salt it mocks the somewhat stenchiness of real eggs but if not available regular salt is fine, I like rock salt after cooked so it doesn't melt and gives you nice surprise in mouth when you encounter a piece]

Oil: [whatever you prefer to use for saute]

Sesame Oil [modification option]: if using sesame oil need to mix a bit of regular oil or will burn fast unless you like a bit of burn taste, sometimes has nice kick]

Calamansi or Lime: [same as lemon or lime just our local version just a bit just to prevent the taste from being uh for lack of a better description in English clingy] [slang here we say umay or like when eating moshy rich stuff like gets you like a bit like, yeah if you need to know then just call me about it since I'm not sure how to explain it. This part is getting long haha]

PROCESS

Saute garlic, onions and bell pepper. [If you have time can also roast them individually first on a hot pan adds some yummy flavor, can't explain. But for first try just don't do it yet .okay?]

Put in the turmeric and pepper when your saute is almost done [heat activates the healing properties of turmeric mixed with black pepper]. Try not to burn your sauteed onions and garlic. [Hehe, from experience, had to make sure I say that] 😜

Put in the crushed tofu and just let it cook. I'm not sure how long just wing it keep checking since tofu is kinda safe to eat raw so you just cooking it in to make sure the flavors weave in with each other.

Add the salt and the lime. Wing it! You have to keep tasting as you go to get a feel for the measurements.


0_0 - Disclaimer: i never had real scrambled egg (I am a Lacto-vegetarian since birth due to philosophy) so I'm not sure how true to the scrambled egg dish this is.
