Polygonal Era

Era
Last spring and this summer have been the best and the worst times of my life. I started art therapy sessions last January and my mental progress has took a step towards better through painting. Found myself through art that I had already been learning here. Silently collecting information and ideas from fx(hash) discord.
So the best part of this era is my personal growth. Kind of burning bridges era, following my personal restrictions and cutting off people that won't respect them. Worst part involves family matters, nothing too serious since I can finally step up from the shadows and show my strength again. This time I'm not afraid anymore.
Polygonal
Polygons started to form with a project I started this spring, Loru. Collected a lot of data for that, made a custom font as points and after a month the noised inverse distance weighted color algorithm had dropped the original concept to continue with the background rectangles. Then the shapes got a few points more and here we are. At this point I was battling with the obsessive behavior towards working and could only code like few hours a week.
Last month, after implementing SAT collision the coding got out of my hands but this time I didn't break apart. Finally I'm hungry for this again. And really need some successful drops, family starts to get hungry too. Maybe still need to take a breath here and there sometimes but won't stress about it.

Colors
Made a few palettes through the projects, switched back to RGB space and tried to implement slightly more colorful gradients with sin wave but that has some work left too. I prefer "random" color palettes over picked palettes but adjusting the colors is one hell of a mess still, lol. Noised inverse distance weighted colors look pretty good with any color combination with correct adjustments based on theme.

Conclusion
My polygonal era projects all share a few things, one is the composition through a Mondrian-like-split grid. Once again forgot the white space and a lot of other things but this time won't torture my self about it..too much, since I've learned to pick my battles, at least when not hungry or tired.
But that is actually the thing about getting better. Pick your battles, meditate, do your thing that helps your head to get through hard times. Remember that you are not alone.
