The iconic 'first' release on the platform by artist and founder Ciphrd. Published November 7, 2021, RGB is the natural starting point for this grid celebrating iconic releases from some of the first artists on fx(hash). Number 51 is within the first 100 tokens minted on fx(hash).

Project #4

Published November 10, 2021 by Sam Tsao, a digital artist and musician who has continued to release fantastic animated works on fx(hash) and elsewhere. Blobby #21 was originally minted by fx(hash) legend Liam Egan but was quickly transferred to Ciphrd’s collection. As project #4 on the platform, Blobby was an early standout for its use of whimsical motion and color.

Project #3,687

Published six weeks into the fx(hash) beta, Angular Variations (Holding Space) is Lisa Orth’s eighth release on the platform, and the 3,687th for fx(hash) overall. Over this period in the history of the platform around 100 projects were being published everyday! Angular Variations #177 stands out for its signature Lisa Orth palette expressed in overlapping woven triangles.

Project #44

Yazid’s first project on fx(hash) is notable for introducing the 'Mondrian' palette meta, which extended into his follow-up release Hashed Cities and became a staple palette for many other non-Yazid projects. Lisa minted #287 herself and has held it tight for nearly two years.

Project #1,095

Unbuilt is Jacek’s second release on fx(hash) and is notable for being one of the earliest breakthrough architectural projects on the platform. Minted and still owned by Yazid, unbuilt #25 contains multiple asymmetries that gives it a pleasing, yet unfinished, feeling.

Project #79

One of the original ‘grid’ grails and still a standout collection from the earliest days of fx(hash). Andreas’ first project on fx(hash) is notable not just for its avid collector base, but for also playing with rarity, in particular the desirable 'Hilma' color scheme which is expressed in only 7 of the 480 outputs. Loom #340 is a lovely example of the significantly more common 'Sophie' palette.

Project #65

The other original ‘grid’ grail, coincidentally published the same day as Loom, and considered by some to be the top project on fx(hash). Contrapuntos has no rarity, though some have tried to dissect the variety of compositions and colors used. #531 contains medium-chunky blocks with a subtle motion effect, atop a dark red background. Notably, both Marcelo and Andreas would go on to collaborate on the project Toccata together!

Project #5

This '500 edition' project was so good it ended up being 1000! Bingo was published the same day as Blobby and holds a sacred position as one of the earliest fx(hash) grails. Rudxane’s early take on asemic writing led to future masterpiece projects, including Tych and Hypnogagia

Project #86

We close out the set with another early-days classic, Reading a book by Kim Asendorf. Kim was considered an “O.G.” of the gen-art world well before fx(hash) arrived, and at 10 tea a mint this was considered quite an expensive token at the time. RAB minted out over several days and was championed in early #price-discussion as a great project for new collectors to check out. #48 is a highly desirable '1 Row' output with slick analog colors.
