My first ever mint is Nothing comes from nothing. It is a work not only on abstraction on calligraphy of writing the word nothing ‘無’. But also how our memories or cognitions are imperfect. Nothing Comes From Nothing #133 is slightly more legible sultra on nothingness.

class Calligraphy(){} is just a class for one character ‘無’.

As I learn more and more coding, I was equipped to both explore generative outputs, both expanding and limiting. As a playful traditional Chinese art and zen practitioner, my subject matters often reflect these topics. Sometimes I say the hell with it, and just go where my heart goes. For example Teardrop, initially started out as an attempt to reply my answers to the Koan Wumenguan. But gateless or not, the generative nature in genart, led me to an epiphany, of my loving grandparents.

My Rudxane collection

Rudxane, an outstanding artist, and even better mentor, took me under his wings. I have learned a lot from him. As I started sell more work, I was able to save up to collect Rudxane's works one by one. I remember vividly the first one was disrupt.

The next piece I collect, I needed my first relatively more successful drop, 無山不似山 #2, ink splash out of bounds onto the frame fabric. Collected by none other Rudxane.

It was in a discord discussion, that I realised I forgot to collect Tych. Remember collecting CDs of my favorite bands when new releases come out.

This homage is not copy-minting, or copying of styles, which I do not have the coding skills to do so even if I wanted to. But it is the influence of taste in many works of Rudxane.
